1.RACING KING(7) has been running close races. Handicap looks good too. Looks good for a place. But if they don't favour BIG NEWS (6) , I would choose it anyways.

2. I like two horses here with the potential to place, GULMARG(4) and TAZTEJSVI(7). I would go for GULMARG with a better rider . TAZTEJSVI has equally good chance nevertheless.

3.SHARPSHOCK(3)-place. Has got the potential and with a rider switch has got a chance but being a no place bet race, it's always a risk. INTO MISCHIEF ran well in the lower class with top weight, will be favored.

4.GORGEOUS BABY (10)  with this weight looks certain to place. Otherwise UNO UNO UNO(3) is the other option, which ran well in the same class but with lesser weight. Don't know the intentions here.

5.MISS HEIGL(5) is a speedy horse which runs forward races, with a better jockey in the saddle, a very good each way chance. Place looks certain , if each way is troublesome for you..

6. Most competative race of the day for me, if you feel it's risky , better to avoid the race. Nevertheless I'm gonna analyse the card. And never know whether upsets are gonna strike or they finish in the order they are favoured. NIZABATI PRINCE (1) is a very good horse , ran yesterday and placed 2nd at this weight. Today runs 200m more.ANARKALI(4) had finished ahead of INTO MISCHIEF earlier in this season. Jockey factor? PITBULL(6) ran an encouraging race last time out, weights being reduced now , has a good chance here. AL SAHIL(7) can be tried. JUST NICE(11) and AL QARAM(13) other two horses which which have got amazing potential.

2.Tricky race here.BONFIRE(1) a 3yr old filly is good bred, failed favourite last time.Trainer jockey combination is good. This rookie tries for all his mounts, rides well too ,wide draw is a concern.BREAKING AWAY(5) looks good in all aspects.Even the rookie is good, but when heavily, it can turn into anything. LUCKY THIRTEEN is a good upsetter here, looks good. VROOM VROOM(10) is a speedy, Mysore based horse, has the chance to place , has been tried earlier with the same jockey astride. BORN FOR STAKES (6) is another hopeful being winner in the same class before its previous run in Mysore. LUC DIVINE (3) is a failed favourite from Bangalore, has the jockey for the job. ASIAN STAR can shoot away from 1st draw with decent tracks

Again today we have seen the true color of MRC. It's one of the worst centeres in India. Ate up too many horses. It's really frustrating for punters when a really good horse with better potential than others doesn't appear on board. But it is the worst reality, more so at Mysore. I have decided to avoid Mysore races as much as possible and try not to post the selections, not for all races. It has been a disappointing day for most of the people. Let's not forget this is racing, and shall move on.

Horse racing is such a sport that it is the most unpredictable one. It is a sport for people who take risks which render us to be unsafe. But once you enter into this world , it becomes a part of your journey in life. You love this sport yet it makes you feel insecure and makes you think, should quit it sometime so that it doesn't affect your livelihood. Everyone might have felt it sometime. In the end it is our personal decisions.
                    Nobody in this world can give a sure-shot tip , not every time. Not even the horse knows itself. If we can understand the intentions of the people involved, which is tricky we can hope to gain something. Above all it's your understanding of the sport and the knowledge you possess which matters in horse racing. It's your ability to see the unseen, to point out the minute details which makes the difference.
                  If you want to win at races you should know each and every horse in the set, if not it isn't worth a bet. If you understand this , you can see which horse has the maximum probability to win or place or appear on board! It's not safe either to go all in for a single race neither to play each race on the card. But it is about selecting few of the races where in you are confident, have known that horse and its ability and you feel confident enough you can wager an amount which you are capable of. I always believe most of the time it is very tricky to bet WIN on horses in most races. (I dont say you shouldn't play a WIN bet, it is my personal view) But it is better to bet a place bet, which is safe yet the same payout or nearly equal or maybe more sometimes.
                  I always tend to avoid to bet on a horse which is fancied heavily with negative odds. you never know the intentions of trainers or people involved. It's a risky bet for me. And I tend to avoid. But if you are confident on the horse , you can make a move. At the end of the day we all hope to make some money. And go home happy, which isn't obvious always given the nature of the sport.
                  So what really matters is your intelligence, knowledge and confidence about the race. The more you know about it, the better placed you are to gain from it. Look for the signs of the horse you like, in the sense whether it looks healthy or kind of ill. This matters too.
                 I have shared my views , but I might be wrong too. It's about perceptions and difference in thinking which makes the sport even more quizzical and yet amazing. It gives you a dose of Adrenaline rush!!

Pune races 23rd Aug 2015 Selections :

1. No money for place. Allegiance(4) is in great form. Can win here in mediocre company. 

Sir song(2) can fight out here as top jockey astride. Sansa (1) can fight for minor placings

SELECTIONS : 4-2-1

2.CANNONBALL RUN(6) is the horse to beat here, is in fine fettle. Showing great tracks. Top jockey astride , can go all the way to winning post. STARDOM CALLING (11) is another horse which can challenge here. Good in tracks. Trainer-jockey combination is positive here.

Horses 2,13,1 can fight out for minor placings.

SELECTIONS : 6-11-2

3. SELECTIONS: 4-5-7

4. SELECTIONS: 9-4-3.Incentio(8) can fight out for place

5.Competitive race with many good horses. Horses 1 and 2 have the edge here. Horses 4 and 7 can upset
